Our Hot Water Extraction equipment uses a water flow rate great than a gallon and a half a minute. Depending on the pressure and the plumbing of the facility being cleaned the machine consistently delivers a minimum of 1.5 gpm to as high as 5 gpm.

As more water is used to suspend and flush dirt and soils out of carpet, more soil is removed, the appearance is improved, and since fewer abrasive soils are left in the carpet, it lasts longer.

The less water left in the carpet the quicker it dries. An extractor that removes close to 100% of the water it uses in cleaning will  allow the area to be reoccupied sooner.

Faster drying also keeps mold and mildew and their resulting odors and potential allergen effects from forming. In a nutshell, the quicker the carpet dries, the sooner activity can be resumed and the better the indoor air quality will be.
